Tasting notes
Bright, fairly liquid appearance, intense gold in color with lemon-yellow highlights.
The nose is pure and chalky, with aniseed notes lifted by the aroma of buttercup and acacia.
Fresh, supple palate, going on to develop a lemony, pomelo acidity.
Food pairing with champagne
This champagne delicately and deeply reveals the marine origins of our chalk soils. It will go fabulously with Fine de Claire oysters, a fish tartare with avocado, a fillet of sole with saffron sauce or a lemon-marinated chicken skewer.
